Privacy Policy
1. Summary
Pacer. helps you plan and review running training using Apple Health, Apple Watch, and on-device storage. We do not sell your personal data. Health and workout data you authorize is processed primarily on your device. Optional integrations (for example Strava) and optional cloud sign-in apply only when you choose to use them.
2. Who this applies to
Users of the Pacer. mobile app (iPhone) and companion Apple Watch app.
3. Data on your device
Stored locally using standard iOS mechanisms:
- Training goals, generated plans, preferences, and plan adjustments
- Athlete profile inputs (for example age, optional heart-rate fields)
- Per-run notes (tags, RPE, shoes, Pace outcomes)
- Saved routes and Watch sync payloads
- Optional Strava OAuth tokens if you connect Strava
Apple Health (when you grant access): the app may read and write categories shown in Apple’s permission screens — for example running workouts, routes, heart rate, sleep, HRV, distance, VO₂ max — to provide runs, maps, insights, readiness, and Watch/iPhone workouts.
Location: used for GPS when you record runs in the app; route maps may also use location embedded in Health workout routes.
4. Optional Strava
If you connect Strava, the app communicates with Strava’s servers under your account. OAuth tokens are stored on your device. Disconnect in the app or revoke access in Strava to stop new API use.
5. Optional cloud / Team features
If you sign in to optional coach or team features, we may process account identifiers, profile information, and content you explicitly sync (for example published plans or chat). Your full Apple Health workout library is not uploaded as part of core app functionality.
6. Analytics and tracking
The Pacer. app does not use advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs. If we add crash reporting or analytics in a future version, we will update this policy and App Store privacy labels.
7. Sharing
- Apple — iOS, Health, Watch, and iCloud platform services when you use them
- Strava — only if you connect your account
- Backend providers — only if you use optional cloud features
We do not sell personal information.
8. Retention
On-device data remains until you delete the app or clear app data. Cloud-held account data is retained until you delete your account where that feature is offered. Strava data retention is governed by Strava’s policy.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export certain data. For on-device data, use iOS Settings (delete the app or revoke Health access). For privacy requests, contact support@runfit.co.uk.
10. Children
Pacer. is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region).

12. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published at this URL is the controlling version. Material changes may be communicated in-app where appropriate.
